Rabobank New Zealand – Rabo Community Fund
- Areas of support: The initiatives must support the ongoing vitality of the agricultural industry and/or rural and regional communities and must meet one or more of the six community themes: Long-term industry capacity and agricultural education; Environment sustainability; Rural / urban connection; Rural wellbeing; Natural Disaster Resilience (community resilience and in response to).
- Eligible regions: All New Zealand

- Grant value: Minimum $5,000. Has funded up to $15,000
Lottery Community Fund – National Community Committee
- Areas of support: Lottery Community grants are available for not-for-profit organisations that have a community or social service focus, and which help improve the quality of people’s lives in the community, hapū and iwi.
- Eligible regions: All New Zealand
- Application deadline: 5 August 2026
- Grant value: No set limit. Past grants up to $1M
ANZ New Zealand Staff Foundation
- Areas of support: Supports NZ charities who: assist in the promotion of financial literacy; provide opportunities for all New Zealanders to achieve economic and social independence; provide access to learning opportunities that prepare people for meaningful work and a high quality of life; assist people working together to create viable and secure communities; assist communities to conserve New Zealand’s natural and historic resources.
- Eligible regions: New Zealand
- Application deadline: 15 August 2026
- Grant value: A maximum of $25,000 can be requested by each charity per funding round
Trust House Limited Foundation Grants 2026
- Areas of support: Funding for organisations that goes towards an event or initiative that enhances one or more of the communities in which the Foundation has an association, for the purposes of sport, motor vehicles, salaries, social activities, advertising and education.
- Eligible regions: All New Zealand
- Application deadline: 17 August 2026
- Grant value: No set limit; has funded up to $100,000
Bobby Foundation Net Proceeds
- Areas of support: To encourage active participation in amateur sports, and to assist bona fide amateur sports teams and clubs competing in recognised leagues and tournaments.
- Eligible regions: All New Zealand
- Application deadline: 21 August 2026
- Grant value: Previous grants up to $50,000
Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa – Nuku Ora Open Fund Round One
- Areas of support: Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa provides funding for programmes or projects delivering play, active recreation and sport experiences for tamariki and rangatahi. It is particularly focused on groups that are less active or missing out on opportunities, such as those living with a disability, in higher deprivation communities, and girls and young women.
- Eligible regions: Wellington, Wellington (Region-wide)
- Application deadline: 21 August 2026
- Grant value: Over $10,000, under $10,000 can be applied for anytime
The Foundation North & Rule Foundation Fund (FNxRF) Large Grants
- Areas of support: The Foundation North & Rule Foundation Fund (FNxRF) is for projects that aim to address a need in takatāpui, MVPFAFF+ and rainbow communities in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland). Applications should identify a need in takatāpui, MVPFAFF+ and rainbow communities in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) and explain how the project will address this need. They welcome applications from a broad range of activities, including but not limited to: events, programmes, advocacy, groups, support, arts, sport, culture, and education activities.

- Application deadline: 28 August 2026
- Grant value: up to $70,000
The Stout Trust (John David Stout Charitable Estate)
- Areas of support: The Stout Trust was set up to promote and preserve New Zealand’s scientific, environmental, and cultural heritage in a variety of ways. These include the preservation of natural and historic sites or amenities for public enjoyment and the promotion, creation of preservation of visual, audio and literary works of art. The Trust has adopted a 2-tier application process based on the amount of the grant requested: applications for grants of $20,000 and under; applications for grants over $20,000.

- Grant value: Estimated between $1,500 and $100,000
New Zealand’s Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) – Sponsorships & Donations Programme
- Areas of support: Support to non-profit organisations through financial and in-kind contributions towards projects, initiatives and events / activities that benefit the Southland community. NZAS is proud to contribute to the local community through the following identified outcomes: health and safety initiatives; education programmes; sport, recreation and wellbeing activities that support a healthy and active community; cultural activities that promote inclusion and diversity; initiatives that raise awareness of, protect and enhance the environment; activities that acknowledge significant days / events to encourage community connection.
